Privacy Policy

1. Definitions

By accessing, registering, and/or availing the Platform, Website and the Services, You agree that:

1. You are thirteen (13) years of age or older. Customers between the ages of thirteen (13) and eighteen (18) must subject this Policy and the Terms to their legal guardian’s review and consent, failing which such Customers must immediately discontinue any use of the Platform, Website and the Services.
2. You have read and unconditionally accepted this Policy and the Terms and to enter into a legally binding contract with GFD.

• In all cases, any Data that may be requested on the Website is necessary for GFD to provide an optimal service to You.

1. The Data and other information supplied by You on the Website can be seen and read by other users, customers, Vendors and the public at large.
2. The Website may contain links to third party websites or other such locations with policies related to privacy and confidentiality that are different from this Policy and that GFD shall not be held responsible to notify You or be liable for any matter arising out of the same.
3. GFD may modify, amend and in any form make changes to this Policy without prior notice and that You shall be solely responsible for regularly checking for such changes. Your continued access and use of the Website shall be construed as Your acceptance of the changes that may be made to this Policy.

• You can end Your acceptance to this Policy by deactivating Your account on the Platform and not accessing or using the Platform and Website in any manner.

2. Collection of Data

GFD may collect and process Your Data and other information provided via:

• Registering an account on the Website;
• Placing an order for the Services on the Website;
• Submitting any form, enquiry, feedback and/or report on the Website;
• Participating in any survey, promotion, competition, etc. on the Website or via emails or social media platforms;
• Any communication or submission through customer service, calls, emails or social media platforms;
• Your IP address, operating system or browser type.

3. Use of Data

3.1. GFD may use Your Data for the following non-exhaustive purposes:

   • Customize the Services that You have availed or GFD considers in its discretion may be of Your interest;
   • Provide You with customized search results, advertising, promotion, etc.;
   • Perform third party obligations in respect of the Services;
   • Update or improve the Services, the Website, Platform, customer service, etc.;
   • Any reason deemed necessary by GFD to enhance customer experience.

• The Data collected may be stored and processed by GFD, Vendors, logistics partners, and other related third parties for reasons including the fulfilment of Your orders, payment processing and provision of customer support.
• You agree and accept that GFD shall store and retain Your Data only for the period necessary to fulfill the purposes outlined in this Policy, unless a longer storage and retention period is permitted or required under the applicable law(s).

4. Disclosure of Data

GFD shall undertake all reasonable efforts to keep all collected Data confidential and may disclose the same only in the manner described below:

4.1. To engage with other affiliated or non-affiliated businesses and/or service providers for the purpose of offering You the Services, subject to contractual agreements with them for maintaining confidentiality of Your information.

4.2. To comply with commitments to third party advertisers on the Website and the Platform to enable them to reach their target audience.

4.3. To comply with the disclosure requirements under the applicable laws of the United Arab Emirates, including and not limited to, sharing the information with third parties for reasons related to fraud protection and credit risk reduction.

4.4. In the event that GFD participates in the merger and/or acquisition of business, the collected Data would comprise a part of the transferred or shared assets between the businesses.

5. General

• The headings in this Policy are for reference purposes only and in no way define, limit, construe or describe the scope or extent of such clause.  
• Nothing in this Policy is intended to, or shall be construed to, establish any partnership or joint venture between the Parties. Neither Party is authorized to make or enter into any commitments for or on behalf of the other Party.
• If any part of this Policy is held to be invalid or unenforceable by a court of competent jurisdiction, the same shall not affect the validity or enforceability of the remaining parts.
• The failure of either Party to enforce, at any time or for any period of time, to exercise any of their rights herein shall not be construed as a waiver of such rights and shall not affect such Party’s right to exercise them later.
• The Customer shall not transfer or assign, in whole or in part, its acceptance or obligations under this Policy to any third party. GFD may transfer or assign its rights and obligations herein to its affiliates or other third parties.
• This Policy and the topics stipulated herein shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the applicable laws of the United Arab Emirates. Both Parties unconditionally submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Dubai courts.
